Our beloved mother Antonia Aponte passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on March 3, 2024. Mom lived an amazing 101 years. Antonia is survived by 9 of her 12 children, Jose Luis, Jose Antonio, Herminio, Ruth Minerva, Graciela, Maria Luisa, Maria Antonia, Irma Rosa, Wanda Ivette, 25 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 8 great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Herminio Sanchez, sons Gildo Modesto, Jose Antonio, Juan Pablo,and her daughter Hilda Gloria. Antonia was born on November 18, 1922 in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico.  She was a woman of strong faith, loved God and her family.  She was passionate about life and lived to be of service to anyone in need. She was an extraordinary woman, a wonderful mother who was always there for her children. She had many friends and was a loved member of her community in San Lorenzo, P.R. We will have a viewing and memorial service this Wednesday, March 6, 2024 starting at 4:30 pm at New Horizon Funeral Chapel 821 13th Street, Saint Cloud, Florida 34769.
