Byron D
Starling
Oct 27, 1980 — Jan 4, 2024
Saint Cloud
Byron Douglas Starling was born on October 27, 1980 in North Fort Myers Beach, FL. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and papaw when he left this world unexpectedly on January 4, 2024. He was 43.
Being an only child Byron always said he wanted a big family and on October 13, 2019 he married the love of his life and got exactly that.
Left missing him are his dedicated wife, Michelle; Mother Florence Starling of TX; Mother-in-Law Dorothy Eder of FL; Children Trevor (Miranda) Perry and Alison Rea (Alexis Cammarasana) of FL; Savannah Perry of NC; Jake Rea (Derek Bush), Macy (Clint) Williams, Kali Neal (Charles Hayes) of IN; grandchildren Trevor Jr., Madison and Vanessa of FL; Luke of NC; Elysa, Gracie, Preston, Charlie, Stevie, Donny, Delilah and Lorelai of IN.
He was preceded in death by his son Nikolas (Aug 1997), Father Glenn Starling (Nov 2012), Father-in-Law Donald Williams (Mar 2016).
Byron's only wish upon his death was that he be cremated and his ashes be spread out into the ocean in a surfer style Paddle out Ceremony. This will be on July 18, 2024 at a beach to be determined. Prior to going to the beach there will be a memorial to celebrate all of who Byron was and the impact he had on those around him and this will be held at the Holopaw Community Center from 11a-1p. Donations may be made at his GoFundMe page to help with expenses of the Paddle Out Ceremony. Updates and information can be found there as well.
These words describe what Byron was to the world, but words can never express who he truly was in his soul. Without his infectious laugh, and crazy sense of humor, it's safe to say that the world is just a little less bright and a lot less jovial without him in it. He will forever be missed.
