Obituary

Carol Winifred Bullings, of Winter Park, Florida went home to be with the Lord on June 21, 2025, at age 72. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Carol was the 4th child born to John and Phyllis Bullings, on September 4, 1952, in Mandeville, Manchester, Jamaica. Carol was adorable and enjoyed being with her family. As a child she was an ardent student, she attended Mandeville All Age school, then attended Reid's Commercial school, where she applied herself well in Secretarial and Administrative studies. Soon after graduation, she worked as a Legal Secretary for the then prominent Attorney, Errol Swaby.

After years of working with Attorney Swaby, she migrated to the United States and lived in Milwaukee Wisconsin, where she would have met and married James "Jim" Syrrakos.  From that union they had their son Michael. Carol had a big family growing up, 5 sisters and four brothers. The oldest Carmen and the youngest Paul, preceded her in death. She was supportive of her siblings growing up and maintained a good relationship up until the time of her passing. In 1994 she moved from Milwaukee to Orlando, Florida and was a long-time employee and team member at Florida Hospital. Carol had many passions in life, she enjoyed tending to her flowers, making gift baskets, she was a good and healthy cook. When she wasn't engaging in cooking or planting things, she could be seen reading her Bible.

Carol's bubbly personality would light up any room she walked in. She was quite stylish and took good care of herself. Her caring personality could be seen in the way she took care of her son and granddaughter as well as the people around her. Carol would offer help to those in need at any given time and expected nothing in return.

Carol is survived by her son, Michael Syrrakos, her granddaughter, River Syrrakos, as well as her her siblings, Jennifer, Raymond, Anthony, Rose, Clinton, June, and Elaine, a host of nieces and nephews and cousins as well as dear friends who will miss her dearly.

From your son Michael: Rest in peace Mom, your memory will live in our hearts forever.
