Carol Perez passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 63, in Orlando, Florida. Born on May 22, 1962, Carol was known for her youthful spirit and her generous nature, always giving from the little she had. Despite lifelong health challenges as a type 1 diabetic, she maintained a quiet, beautiful soul and cherished her time with family, especially the younger ones.
Carol dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker, creating a nurturing and loving environment for all who entered her home. She found joy in shopping trips with her sister, Michelle Leonard, and was an active member of the City of Life Church in Kissimmee, Florida.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas M. Gonzalez and John Carlos Flores; her sister, Michelle Leonard; four nieces and nephews; and seven great-grand nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Carmen and Jose Luis Perez; her sister, Adelaine Morales; and her nephew, Jonathan Morales.
Carol attended PS 114 and Taft High School, which laid the foundations for her lifelong learning and engagement in community activities.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Mt. Peace Cemetery, 755 E. 10th Street, Saint Cloud, FL, at 10:00 AM. A Celebration of Life event will follow on Saturday, June 7, 2025, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory joyfully.
In lieu of flowers, contributions towards her gravestone would be a beautiful tribute to Carol's memory. This gesture will help commemorate a life beautifully lived and cherished by many.
