Ceferino Antonio Torres

Ceferino Antonio Torres, affectionately known to all who loved him as "Tony," age 92, of St. Cloud, Florida, passed away peacefully of natural causes on September 6, 2026, surrounded by the warmth and devotion of his family.

Tony was born on August 28, 1934, in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico. Guided by an unwavering sense of duty, resilience, and quiet strength, he dedicated his entire life to hard, honest work to provide a better future and a loving home for his family.

In 1960, destiny brought Tony to Miami, Florida, where he met the love of his life, Celina E. Torres. Their connection blossomed into a deep, enduring partnership of 61 beautiful years of marriage—a shining example of commitment, mutual respect, and unconditional love. Tony was a strong, protective, and tenderhearted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and soon-to-be great-great-grandfather. He took immense pride in his family, considering them his greatest achievement in life. His gentle smile, steadfast advice, and welcoming presence will be remembered by all who had the privilege to know him.

Tony's legacy lives on through his four loving daughters, Evelyn, Gisela, Dulce and Maydelyn; his cherished grandchildren; his beloved great-grandchildren; and his anticipated great-great-grandchild, as well as an extended circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.

We will always smile thinking of you in your favorite outfit: flannel shirts, cargo shorts, and those signature knee-high socks. You kept us grounded, you kept us safe, and you loved us fiercely.

You will be so deeply missed every single day. We love you, Dad.

Services: Visitation will be held at The New Horizon Chapel, St. Cloud, FL September 16, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Burial will be held on September 17, 2026 @ 10:00 am at the Mount Peace Cemetery, St. Cloud where he will lie peacefully next to his beloved Celina.
