Dawn Marie Verbeke, AKA Dawn Jester Verbeke 74, of Orlando, Florida, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 21, 2026.Born on July 20, 1952, in Easton, Pennsylvania to Clark Jester Sr. and Loretta Mae Plum, Dawn Marie lived up to her maiden name, Jester. She brought a playful, witty sense of humor to everyone she met, proving that a merry heart is good medicine.Dawn Marie’s absolute passion was serving Jesus. A faithful member of Lockwood Missionary Baptist Church, she spent hours reading her Bible and writing about her faith. Even health challenges couldn't stop her ministry; she famously turned every doctor’s visit into a mission trip. Dawn Marie never missed a chance to talk about Jesus with her doctors and nurses, ensuring that while they checked her physical health, she checked on their spiritual hearts.

She is survived by her beloved son, Daniel Verbeke (and girlfriend Ashleigh Pfister, whom she loved like a daughter), and her brother, Clark Jester Jr. Her family takes comfort knowing she is now joyfully resting in the arms of Jesus.
