In Loving Memory of Denise Ann Cowan

Denise Ann Cowan, 59, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2026, in Orlando, Florida. She was born on May 22, 1967, in Denver, Colorado.

Denise dedicated 35 years of her life to Publix Super Markets, where she built lasting friendships and touched the lives of countless coworkers and customers through her kindness, hard work, and genuine compassion.

Those who knew Denise knew that she lived every day to the fullest. She found her greatest joy in her family and especially her grandchildren, whom she loved with every part of her being. She was the most caring, giving, and selfless person—a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, beloved daughter, sister and treasured friend. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Denise is lovingly survived by her wife, Theresa Lynn Goble; her daughter, Jessica Mae Morales (Stephen M. Morales); her mother, Donna Mae Cowan; her brother, Michael Dowell Cowan; her sister, Mary McCubbin (Russ McCubbin) and her treasured grandsons, Bentley, Stephen Jr., and Oliver.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jared Dowell Cowan, and her beloved son, Eric Ferreira, whom she now joins in eternal peace.

A memorial service celebrating Denise's life will be held on Saturday July 18th 2026 - 10am at New Horizon Funeral Chapel, 821 13th Street, St. Cloud, Florida 34769. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor her life, share memories, and celebrate the incredible love she gave so freely.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cornerstone Hospice, or the American Cancer Society.

God's Garden
