Dorothy L. (Thomas) McKeown, 90 died Sunday at Avante Rehabilitation Facility in Saint Cloud, Florida after an illness. Her husband of 66 years, James J. McKeown, Jr died in 2017. She was predeceased by her son Michael G. McKeown of Millbury, Ma. and daughter Susan M. Hill of Buxton, Me. She leaves two sons James E. McKeown of Milton, Nova Scotia, Canada and Sean P. McKeown of Saint Cloud, Fl., one daughter Diane wife of Daniel Simons of Kissimmee, Fl. She was predeceased by two brothers Francis H. Thomas of Durham, Ct. and Phillip C. Thomas of Quinebaug, Ct. one sister, Evelyn B. Thomas of Auburn, Ma. She leaves a sister Judith L., wife of Robert Giovannucci of Charlton, Ma., 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was born in Auburn, Ma, daughter of Earl F. and Effie B. Thomas. Her and her husband lived in Charlton, Ma for over 30 yrs and moved to Florida where her and her husband lived the remaining years of their lives. She worked at Rex Chainbelt in Auburn, Ma. She loved to play cards, square dance, round dance, and play bingo. A private service will be held at a later time.
