Gary Dale Catlett

Gary Dale Catlett was born on October 21st, 1958 in Rock Island, Illinois to Rowena & Max
Catlett. Gary grew up in the Quad Cities, attending Westmer High & Moline High. Gary had a
number of jobs following highschool, including but not limited to Eagles Warehousing, Fischer
Scientific Shipping & McClain Sun East Warehousing. Gary was always a hard, dedicated &
devoted worker leading him to follow his dreams as an entrepreneur, opening Catlett's Lawn
Service, Inc. on December 1st, 2009. Gary had maintained his wonderful business, working day
& night until his unexpected passing in February of 2025.

Being a hard & devoted worker was just one of Gary's many inspiring qualities. Outside of work,
Gary was known for bringing a light & radiating aura to all of those around him. Gary was known
for his humor & dedication to making those around him smile, often with his Donald Duck
imitations. Gary had created many friendships & memories in his love for sports, playing
volleyball, basketball, and bowling when his schedule allowed. Although, his love for sports was
no match for his love of his family & close friends, as he spent most of his free time with those
he adored most.

Our beloved Gary was a man whose love had no limits. Gary's love was warm, radiating &
encouraging. Gary was a number one fan for all of those he knew, and would give the shirt off of
his back to help anyone in need. Gary Dale was a once in a lifetime kind of person, and we are
all honored & blessed to have been given the opportunity to know & love him in this lifetime.

Gary was survived by his beautiful children, Katrina Catlett (Matt Maassen) & Ryan Catlett
(Casey Webb). His adoring grandchildren, Londyn Maassen, Delaney Webb & Ryatt Catlett.
Loving siblings, Betty Dillon, Jerry Catlett, Patricia Rotzinger (Roger Rotzinger), Wanda Popejoy
(John Gartner), Tina Ellis (Robert Wilson), Anthony Catlett, Janne Leete (Bill Leete) and many
nieces, nephews, cousins, etc.

Gary was preceded in death by his biological parents, Rowena & Max Catlett. Adoptive parents,
Barbara & Kenneth Dickens. Loving brothers Danny, Max and Carlos Catlett. As well as many
aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Join us for Gary's Celebration of Life on March 1st, 2025 at 6571 Bass Highway, St. Cloud
Florida 34771. This will be a relaxed atmosphere with food & drinks, and we ask you to dress in
casual attire. Please bring any pictures you may have, along with all of your wonderful
