James Hicks age 64, born August 7, 1961 he sadly passed away on Sunday September 14, 2025 at a local hospital in Orlando Florida after a brief illness surrounded by loving family. He resided most of his life in Kingsport TN. He proceeded in death by his mother Thelma Hicks, his father Virgil Hicks and his brother Warren Hicks. His survivors are his daughter Tara Hicks, son Jamie Hicks and grandchildren Destiny Ledoux, Danielle Ledoux, Hillary Hicks and D'metrius Tabon, he had several nieces and nephews. His favorite hobby was fishing and for work he enjoyed cutting trees and roofing. James was a great man that wore his heart on his sleeve. The ones that he loved the most was his children and grandchildren. He was loved by many and will be missed by lots of friends and family.
