In Loving Memory of John Patrick Flynn Jr.
John Patrick Flynn Jr. was born on May 26, 1963, in Seattle, Washington, to John and Kiara Flynn. He passed away peacefully on August 24, 2026, at 5:24 p.m., surrounded by the warmth and comfort of his loving family: his sister, Nadine Vranizan; his brother-in-law, Brian Vranizan; and his beloved sons, Micah and Jonah Flynn.
A proud veteran, John honorably served his country in both the United States Air Force and the United States Army. In recent years, he took immense pride in his work as a security officer at Walt Disney World, bringing dedication, warmth, and a welcoming presence to everyone he encountered.
John cherished life’s adventures and the time spent with those he loved most. His family trip to Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii was one of the happiest times of his life, and he always spoke fondly of his Myrtle Beach golf trip, reuniting with his closest high school friends on the fairway. Most recently, John shared one final, meaningful trip to Anna Maria Island with his family. Despite his illness, that time together created precious memories and laughter that will be cherished for a lifetime.
He is survived by his loving mother, Kiara; his sons, Micah, Jonah, Jeremiah, and Joshua; his sister Nadine (Brian) Vranizan; his brother, Larry Stone; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family members across the Vranizan, Flynn, and Stone families. He was preceded in death by his father, John Flynn Sr.
John will be dearly remembered for his devotion to family, his honorable service, and his joyful spirit. The laughter, camaraderie, and memories shared with him on and off the course will remain in our hearts forever.
In accordance with John’s wishes, a private family gathering will be held to honor his life and memory.
