Kenneth Wayne Hoover, age 68, of Florida, formerly of Memphis, Tennessee, passed peacefully at home, surrounded by family who loved him dearly, into the arms of Jesus on January 13, 2026. He was born May 31, 1957, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Lloyd and Norma Hoover.

Born with Cerebral Palsy, Ken lived a life marked by strength, independence, and determination. Strong-willed, opinionated, and stubborn at times, he was also deeply loving and caring, always making sure he was there for everyone he loved. He never allowed life's challenges to define or limit him and worked hard to live as fully and actively as possible. He enjoyed fishing, going to the beach, attending concerts, and spending time with family and friends.

Ken graduated from Memphis State University with a degree in Communications and later worked at Clovermook Training Center, where he taught blind adults how to use computer equipment.

A lifelong fan of Elvis Presley, Ken proudly shared his love for Elvis's music and films and was still listening to his favorite songs in his final days. He was also a devoted fan of Christopher Reeve and Superman and often smiled when told he resembled his hero.

Ken cherished his family deeply. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, dressing up in costumes with them on Halloween, and sharing stories, movies, and snacks with his daughter. He enjoyed quiet evenings at home with his wife, Dana, and their playful kitties, as well as visiting the senior center to play games with friends.

Ken married his beloved wife, Dana, on August 29, 2013. They moved to Florida in January 2022 and became members of Faith Bible Church.

He is survived by his wife, Dana; his mother, Norma; his sisters, Joanna and Sherry; his brother, Daryl; his stepchildren, William, Crista, Michael, and Hailie; and his step-grandchildren, Callie, Lincoln, Aiden, Triss, and Jasper.

Ken will be remembered for his courage, strong spirit, loving heart, and the joy he brought to all who knew him.
