Leo Robert Russell
1952-2025

Leo Russell passed away on December 6 2025 in Kissimmee
Florida. He was born January 28 1952 in Florence, New York
to Allen and Hazel Russell. He married Louise Ackley on July
18 1970. Leo built his 1st family home with his brother Billy
and started his family in 1977 in Adams New York. He worked
at the New York Air Brake for 20 years. He moved his family
to Florida in 1993 where he started his own company and
worked with HVAC and general construction projects. Leo
loved the sun and the water and became a certified diver
where he enjoyed many dives off the coast of Florida. Leo
made an impact with all who he encountered by projecting
Jesus's love through his bright smile and joyous laughter. All
who got to experience him would all attest to the fact
that he was a light and always brought joy to those around
him. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Fred
Russell and George Russell. He is survived by his wife Louise
(Ackley)Russell, his son Jason Russell, His Daughter Christina
(Russell) MacDonald, sister, Mary (Russell) Clemons, Brother,
Billy Russell, Brother, Randy Russell, Sister, Rosemary
(Taylor) Filippi and other cousins, nieces and nephews.

His celebration of life will be held at Greenleaf River of
Life Church on Dec 11th at 5pm in Haines City Florida.
