LeRoy "Butch" Johnston Jr.

Aug. 27, 1952- Jan. 17, 2024

LeRoy "Butch" Earl Johnston Jr., born on August 27, 1952, in Niagara Falls, New York, passed away on January 17, 2024, in Saint Cloud, Florida. He was the beloved son of the late LeRoy E. Johnston Sr. and Genevieve Gardner.

LeRoy is survived by his devoted wife, Cindy; his sons James Johnston and fiancée December, Nicholas Johnston, and Alexzander Johnston; his daughter Chasity Dullen and her husband Ricky; and his sisters Victoria Johnston, Jamie Johnston, Jane Gearhart, and Sandy Johnston with her husband Denny. He was also a cherished grandfather to Hunter Dullen, Zackary Dullen, Tyler Johnston, Madalyn Johnston, Ariel Johnston, Ian Johnston, Isabella Johnston, and Athena Johnston.

He was preceded in death by his parents; twin sons Noah and Nathan Johnston; and his sister Caroline Dobo.

LeRoy was a skilled tradesman who co-owned K&B Painting and Drywall alongside Keith Lucas for many years. Later in life, he became a nationally certified EMT and served with dedication at Houtzdale EMS, Port Matilda EMS, and DelGrosso's Amusement Park. After a fulfilling career of service to others, he retired in Kissimmee, Florida.

LeRoy had a deep passion for music that shone brightly throughout his life. A talented guitarist, he played in various bands over the years and found joy performing with his church band. His love for music was evident to all who saw him play.

LeRoy's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May his zest for life and passion bring comfort to his loved ones during this time of loss.
