Lorine M. Bloodworth was born July 12, 1934, in Scipio, KS, in the family home of her parents, Edmund and Caroline (Katzer) Miller. Lorine was the fifth daughter and was delivered by her grandmother, Elizabeth Miller.  Lorine grew up on her parents' farm near Garnett, KS, and graduated from high school in Ottawa, KS, in 1952.

Sisters Dorothy Reyer, Irma Finnegan, JoAnn Miller, Shirley Peck, and Mary Jean Alexander survive Lorine. Her daughters Kathleen (Robert) Landrove, Loretta Denes, Jennifer (Barry) Greenawalt, and son David Bloodworth, along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren, also survive Lorine.

Lorine loved gardening, especially her flowers, crocheting, and crafts. Lorine loved to have long telephone talks with her sisters.

All who knew her loved her; she will be missed.
