Luis "Don Luis" Rivera Ortiz or as he loved to introduced himself to everyone he met  "Sweet Daddy Pappa Doo" was born on June 16,1933 in Jayuya, Puerto Rico. He was born to be the light & laughter in many people's lives especially in those who were blessed to be close & loved by him.

He was man of little words but when he did have words they were words full of wisdom & edification, a man who chose to better show his words & emotions thru his actions, which allowed him to create wonders and days full of happiness for his closest family. He was one in a trillion & his presence will be missed deeply.

Luis is survived by his daughter Brenda Ortiz & stepson Juan Carlos Cuadrado as well as his grandchildren Angel G.  Ortiz & Ashley M. Perez together with his Son In Law Michael A. Perez & Great-Grand Daughter Annabella N. Perez. Along with his surviving sister Emma, 5 nieces & 2 nephews.
