Luz Roman

The family of Luz Elenia Roman of Saint Cloud, FL is saddened to announce her passing on Monday, August 10th, 2026, at the age of 72 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 51 years, Miguel; her children Natalie (Lex) and Daniel (Christina) and stepson Michael; grandchildren: America, Abigail, Isabella, Olivia, Jacob, Isaak, Judah, Lucas, Joshua, Promise, Austin and Alayna; brothers, Potamia, Leonardo, Angel, Jose, sisters, Carmen (Perez), Virginia (Figueroa); as well as numerous relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonardo Gonzalez, Juana (Cruz) Gonzalez, her brother, Carmello, her grandson, Zion and one child she had miscarried.

She was dedicated to working alongside her husband for many years in their own grocery store business. And later when they moved to Florida, she touched the hearts of many children while driving the school bus for Osceola County.

After retirement, she devoted herself fully to what she called her "real job": being Abuela.

She attended baseball games, birthday parties, and dance recitals. She kept a refrigerator covered in pictures and cards of her grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family would like a donation be made to Commission 127 or Beyond Pregnancy in honor of Lucy Roman.
