Maureen Minor May
June 29, 1948 – November 9, 2025

Maureen Minor May, 77, of Lake Worth, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Maureen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and faith touched everyone she met. She is survived by her loving husband, Myron May; children Lori (Johny) Clifford, Kristi (Christopher) Beasley, and Derek (Christine) May; grandchildren Tyler (Lauren), Breanna (Tylor), Chelsea, Brandon, Courtney (Nicholas), Taylor, and Preston; great-grandchildren McKenna and Kinsley; and sisters Veda Jeanie Morrison and Angie (Michael) Duncan.

In her early years, Maureen worked for the Indiana Chapter for the Prevention of Child Abuse, demonstrating her compassion and dedication to helping others. She later built a successful career as a paralegal, where her integrity, intelligence, and kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Maureen was gifted with creativity and a zest for life. She loved arts and crafts, painting, playing games, traveling, and spending time at the beach. An exemplary cook, she won numerous State Fair competitions and was featured on live television for her award-winning chicken pot pie. She had a special ability to make ordinary moments extraordinary. Above all, she loved her family and her Lord deeply.

In keeping with her generous and giving spirit, Maureen chose to donate her body to the United Tissue Network to help others through medical research and education.

A celebration of Maureen's life will be held in the spring in the Indianapolis, Indiana, area. She will be forever remembered for her faith, her laughter, and her unwavering love for others.
