Obituary

We are gathered here today to celebrate the life and legacy of Michael Angelo LaBella III, who passed away on December 28, 2024, in Saint Cloud, Florida. Born on April 12, 1967, Michael is Leaving behind his loving Wife, Sheila M. O'Brien LaBella, Mother Wanda Marie LaBella and Brother, Mark LaBella (Shannon LaBella). Michael is predecesed by his Dad, Michael Angelo LaBella Jr.


Michael & Sheila were married in 1994 and raised four beautiful children: Ashley Lahey (Alex Lahey), Blake Patterson, Casey Miller, and Angela LaBella. He was also a proud Papa to nine grand-babies: Alexis, Joshua, Taylor, Leightyn, Skylar, Olivia, Auroa, Macy, & Layne a.k.a "Gino". As well as his niece Maddie, nephews Angelo & Austin and his two family dogs, "Girls" Zena & Koda.


Michael attended Westhill High School, graduating in 1985, before continuing his studies at Ohio State University where he played football for the Buckeyes, Go Buckeyes! He later went on to work at Universal Technical Institute where he was awarded Hot Rod Instructor of the year and dedicated his time to various youth sports organizations: Milford Pop Warner, Milford International Little League, and Milford Jr Babe Ruth. Michael's passion for coaching extended to being the Head Football Coach at Jonathan Law HS Lawmen. Relocating to Florida, Michael continued volunteering his time at SCLL as a Head Manager for Baseball & Softball and also as a SCLL Board-member.


Outside of his professional and coaching endeavors, Michael enjoyed hobbies such as fishing, his boat, football, baseball, coaching, drag racing cars, car shows, rock and gem mining, playing guitar, listening to rock music, owning horses, and spending every precious moment with his beloved grand-babies. Michael will be remembered for his larger-than-life personality, his dedication to his family, friends, community, and his unwavering love for those around him. Rest in peace, Michael LaBella III. You will be dearly missed, Until we are all together again💙
