Obituary

Michaele Palazzo lived loud, laughed harder, and never apologized for being exactly who she was. Full of life and always ready for a party, she left this world the way she lived in it—on her own terms, surrounded by love, and with her best friend, Dee Swanson, by her side.
She leaves behind her daughter, Toby, and son-in-law, Matt Decker; her grandson and partner-in-mischief, Nathan Felts; her brother, Michael Opalenik, and wife Lynn; her sister, Patricia Keyser, and husband Eugene; and a lifetime of family and friends who adored her bold, beautiful, "nasty woman" spirit.
She now joins her beloved boyfriend, Glenn McDowell; her parents, Shirley and Michael Opalenik; her sisters, Shirley (and brother-in-law Omer Gingras) and Judy (and brother-in-law Jim Forest); who no doubt welcomed her with music, laughter, and a Bud Light.
Michaele wouldn't want quiet tears—she'd want music, laughter, and a toast raised in her honor. So pour a Bud Light, tell a story, and celebrate her the way she lived: big, loud, and unapologetic.
A celebration of life will be held at the Granby legion, October 11, noon to 3:00.
