Virginia Loreen Wilson, 71 of Kissimmee, FL passed away peacefully in her sleep on 1/1/2024. She was born in Miami 11/24/1952 to Mayre Featherstone and Edward Floyd Tharp. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Pat Gonzalez, and her late husband of 25 years, Robert Wilson. Virginia is survived by her brother Edward Franklin Tharp, nieces Nicole and Ashley Tharp, cousin George Featherstone, her precious dog Sweetie Pie, and her best friend who was like a sister to her for almost 60 years, Jennifer Horton. Virginia attended Southwest Miami High School before earning her associate's degree in business from Miami Dade College. She was a successful entrepreneur and loved children, creating Kids In Safety Seats, a child equipment rental business. With hard work and true passion, she was able to achieve an early retirement and enjoy much of her free time relaxing on the beach and at the lake. She enjoyed all things nature, and she was a passionate and talented gardener; she enjoyed sharing her wisdom and love of plants, as well as her homemade arts and crafts with others. Virginia was a very creative, generous, and high-spirited person who will be greatly missed by all of her friends and family.
